St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital
GMS has worked closely with
the hospital’s marketing department creating, guiding, advising and implementing
public relations, marketing and advertising campaigns.
GMS created from scratch a public relations campaign that consistently
produced excellent positive media coverage for the hospital in many major
publications.
In 2008 this culminated with the incredible success of Channel 9's 60 Minutes
story about Tourettes patient Bianca Saez who underwent a life changing
operation at St Andrew's.
This was then followed by a 90 minute special edition of Domestic Blitz -
billed as the biggest renovation project ever undertaken for Australian TV - on
the same network and that tugged at the heart strings of every Australian.
GMS was also responsible for creating a marketing plan for the Director
of Nursing at St Andrew’s Hospital to help increase the hospital’s profile and
improve recruitment levels. This was so successful that the hospital had a
waiting list of nurses wanting to work there.
GMS also helped the hospital organise major publicity and fund raising
campaigns such as the 50th Anniversary celebrations in 2008.
Australian Private Hospitals Association (APHA)
Gray Media Services was chosen in 2009 to provide editorial and
copywriting services for the APHA’s annual national congress in Melbourne.

that articles on each speaker appeared in the industry bible, the Private
Hospital Magazine, and were written in a user friendly, informative and factual
way to guide delegates at the conference.
