Yasmine Gray – Director

Yasmine has worked in media her whole life from the whirlwind streets of London to Australia where she has been a leading columnist, TV and radio presenter, magazine editor and now director and founder of a leading public relations and marketing company.

Yasmine wanted to be a journalist from the age of five and set on a journey that would ensure she would achieve her goal. She has a genuine passion for news and media as an industry, and is always looking for new ways in which she can contribute to it.

In 2005 she founded Gray Media Services to give Brisbane a public relations and marketing company that would embody this passion and understanding of news and would challenge standard PR and marketing methods.

She is bright, creative, progressive and above all full of energetic enthusiasm for the future of PR and marketing as a profession.

When not in the office she adores spending time with her wonderfully supportive husband, three beautiful children and their zoo of animals on their small farm.

Lachlan Crutchfield - Senior PR and Marketing Consultant

Lachlan began his career in public relations after completing a Bachelor of Business at Queensland’s University of Technology.

He went on to work in London at one of the world’s top PR firms, Weber Shandwick, where he gained an extensive knowledge of the public relations industry before deciding to return to his home town of Brisbane and join the team at Gray Media Services.

Gray Media Services prides itself on its dynamic and innovative approach to the media and Lachlan, who has worked on some of the world’s most recognised and influential brands, brings great strength to the GMS team through both his experience and natural flair for the industry.

Lachlan is also an avid traveler who loves venturing off the beaten track. His recent expedition to India saw him traverse the Himalayas, explore the vast deserts of Rajasthan and enjoy the beautiful beaches of the South. He looks forward to exploring more of what the world has to offer in the future.

Rosie Misra – PR and Marketing Consultant

Rosie has a Bachelor of Mass Communication majoring in Public Relations from Queensland University of Technology. From the moment she started her degree she knew that she had found her vocation.

She has an incredible natural flair for marketing and adds a wonderful, creative element to the Gray Media Services offices and to our many client accounts.

Her genuine passion for PR and her constant cheery disposition keeps the Gray Media Services offices bright and happy.

She is a self confessed shopaholic and can’t wait to get on the next plane for her next travel adventure, having already visited many of the major continents in the world.

Rosie Misra - Assistant PR Consultant

Suzanne Ross – PR and Marketing Consultant

Suzanne gained extensive experience within the media industry whilst studying journalism at Queensland University of Technology.

She joined Gray Media Services after looking for a way to utilise her writing skills while developing a career in public relations and marketing. Suzanne brings strong journalistic skills to the GMS team having worked at a number of local Brisbane radio stations including Nova 106.9, 4BC and 4ZZZ, as well as having print and television experience.

Suzanne’s intuitive writing style leads to nothing but the highest quality of work and combined with her natural leaning to give every task her all, Suzanne truly fits within the Gray Media Services ethos.

Known particularly within the office for her love of fashion, Suzanne is also guilty of scoping the social media scene for her regular celebrity gossip fix.

Sally Parkinson – Accounts Manager

Sally is a highly experienced business woman who has spent the last decade working as an accounts manager for some of Australia’s leading organisations, acquiring a vast array of knowledge and skills in accounting, superannuation and book keeping.

Starting her career in administrative positions, Bundaberg born Sally quickly excelled within the business industry, gaining highly sought after positions at organisations including Val Morgan Cinemas and Greyhound Australia. However, after leading a busy lifestyle working and living in Australia’s major metropolitan centres of Sydney and Melbourne, Sally found herself yearning to move back to her home state and so returned to sunny Brisbane where she joined the Gray Media Services team.

Highly qualified with degrees in business and superannuation, Sally brings an array of experience and skills to Gray Media Services where she provides vital support to the office and always ensures that the business is running smoothly and efficiently. A driven career woman, Sally is also constantly striving to expand her knowledge and often divides her time between working and completing further business studies.

Whilst known as the queen of multitasking, Sally is still passionate about ensuring that she maintains a healthy balance of career and lifestyle, with the mother of two often taking time out to compete in marathons or bake for her husband and two young girls. With an enthusiastic and positive attitude, Sally brings endless amounts of positive energy to Gray Media Services and is an invaluable asset to the team.

We have an award winning marketing firm that works with us to help provide our clients with branding, logos, promotional materials and graphic design.

We have our own team of professional photographers in both Sydney and Brisbane that all have a strong background in both media and advertising which ensures company brochures and advertising materials look their very best.

We have our own IT consultant who specialises in website design and who is an expert in developing and administrating the very latest in internet technology which ensures all company and client websites are not only kept up to date but look modern and professional at all times.

We have a Brisbane book publishing house that looks after all the literary needs of our clients providing ghostwriters, editors, literary agents and printers.

Kerry Birch – Graphic Designer – SMART Queensland Kerry is a highly skilled graphic designer who has worked across a wide range of areas and in a myriad of different roles and is an ever cheerful, hard working and creatively vital part of the services provided by GMS. After completing a Bachelor of Graphic Design in her home town of Manchester in the United Kingdom, Kerry went onto gain vast experience through working as a freelance designer for magazine publishing giants, Condé Nast and Boat International Media. During her career in the UK, Kerry also achieved success as a lead graphic designer, heading up the design arm of a 30 strong in-house marketing team, where she played a significant part in developing some large and challenging campaigns, including the 2002 Commonwealth Games. However after yearning for sunnier skies and a warmer environment, Kerry left Manchester in 2006 to come to Australia where she settled on the Gold Coast and immediately landed the role of Studio/Production Manager for nationally recognised advertising agency, SMART Queensland. In 2008, through SMART, she began a valuable collaboration with Gray Media Services and has since become an integral part of the GMS team, helping the company to come up with creative, innovative and visually appealing designs for a number of its clients. Roger Wills – Website Developer – Hooked on I.T Roger is an expert website developer and consultant who has worked with Gray Media Services for many years, developing websites from scratch and helping redesign them when they need a refresh. Roger brings to Gray Media Services years of experience from his time working and partnering with several award winning corporations, where he honed his skills in the varying fields that exist within IT. Specialising in building everything from the very latest flash technology to online shopping carts, Roger is a perfectionist who also manages the day to day maintenance of our clients’ sites ensuring they are always up to date and operating effectively. Fiona Lee Quimby – Sydney (NSW) Photographer Fiona has an incredible knack of making everyone relax, smile and have fun when she weaves her magic on a photo shoot and so, together with an infectious laugh, is a perfect choice for GMS as a much valued part of our creative team. Fiona began her career working as a photojournalist for prestigious international publisher Fairfax Media, where she gained over ten years experience as a staff photographer for some of Australia’s leading newspapers, including The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald. After finishing up at Fairfax, Fiona continued to achieve success as an active freelance photographer working with high profile Australian organisations including Foxtel and ACP Magazines, before eventually making the decision to venture out and start her own business. By establishing Fiona-Lee Quimby Photographer, Fiona has been able to achieve her goal of delivering extraordinary images that are technically and visually perfect, with her most notable work being for the Queensland rugby league team, the Brisbane Broncos, and their campaign ‘Moments’ which received high industry praise. Fiona has helped provide visual aid and meaning to many Gray Media Services’ campaigns since joining the team last year and will continue to do so as our photographer now based in Sydney.
