Terri Cooper Networking Event featuring the Google Guru – Broncos Leagues Club – Wednesday February 23, 2011 – 6:45am

Gray Media Services is proud to be the sole sponsor of the upcoming Terri Cooper Networking Breakfast featuring the Google Guru, which will be held on Wednesday February 23 at the Broncos Leagues Club.

The Google Guru, Monte Huebsch, who is also Chief Executive Officer of AussieWeb.com.au, will be the special guest speaker at the breakfast, where he plans to enlighten guests on how to navigate their businesses through the new realm of social media by discussing how to make the most of the very latest social media tools, as well as how to use social media to extend a business’s reach to new customers.

In sponsoring this event, GMS will also be presenting on the benefits of utilising PR and marketing through new social media platforms and looks forward to engaging in what looks to be an interesting discussion and to mixing with many like-minded business men and women operating throughout Brisbane.

Gray Media Services lecture to PR students – Bond University – November 9, 2010 – 9am

On Tuesday, November 9, the Director of Gray Media Services Yasmine Gray will be lecturing first year PR students at Bond University on internal and employee communications. Part of their Introduction to PR Principals and Practice class, Mrs Gray will be providing many of the students with their first insight into how the PR and media industry operates, by talking about how a real life agency applies PR theories into every day practice.

Having already lectured back in May to tremendous acclaim, Mrs Gray is now a prominent fixture at Bond University as a regular guest lecturer and a member of the university’s PR Industry Advisory Committee, for which she consults with academic staff on how to best incorporate real life practice and experience into the PR course.

On Wednesday November 3 the Director of Gray Media Services, Yasmine Gray will be for the very first time addressing some of Brisbane’s leading business women about the power of public relations and marketing. Specifically chosen to speak at the event for her experience within the media industry, Mrs Gray will be presenting to 50 of Brisbane’s most creative and intelligent business women, with her speech focusing on the necessity of integrating a joint strategy of both PR and marketing into an overall business plan.

Aussie Business Seminar – Aussie Brisbane Head Office – August 18, 2010 – 9:30am

Director of Gray Media Services, Yasmine Gray will be speaking to an audience of 45 mortgage brokers from Aussie at a company conference to be held at their Brisbane headquarters on August 18. Part of the national company’s Queensland conference, Ms Gray’s speech will focus on social media and in helping the company to, not only garner a better understanding on the advantages of using social media, but in teaching them how effective it can be if utilised as part of an overall marketing strategy.

Terri Cooper Networking Event – Summit Events Centre- August 3, 2010 – 6pm

GMS is proud to sponsor leading Brisbane business woman, Terri Cooper’s free networking evening for small businesses. Taking place at the Summits Events Centre in Paddington on August 3rd , the Terri Cooper networking event plans to not only celebrate Ms Cooper’s company’s ninth birthday but also the growth of Brisbane’s small business industry. As one of the key sponsors of the event, Director of Gray Media Services, Yasmine Gray will be one of the key speakers at the event, where she plans to address an audience of over fifty small business owners on the importance of marketing and PR in promoting company growth and exposure. GMS is very much looking forward to the event and in being able to meet and mingle with some likeminded innovative businesses from around Brisbane.

Public Relations Institute of Australia and Gray Media Services Lecture to PR Students – Bond University – May 31, 2010 – 4:00pm

The Director of Gray Media Services Yasmine Gray will be speaking at Bond University on Monday May 31st about the strong benefits and opportunities the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) offers to its members. PRIA is Australia’s peak regulatory body for public relations and as a member of its Queensland Council, Yasmine will be talking in-depth about how the organisation is vital to the public relations industry. Yasmine will also be speaking on current issues facing Australian PR students including industry trends and possible career paths, as well as offering her unique perspective on what the key is to becoming a successful PR consultant. 

Paint the Town Red Gala – Kedron Wavell Services Club – April 16, 2010 – 7:00pm

GMS is proud to be a major sponsor of the inaugural Paint the Town Red Gala which will be hosted by charity organisations Mummy’s Wish and Red Cross on April 16th. This year’s event hopes to raise much needed awareness of the good work Mummy’s Wish and Red Cross do for mothers suffering from cancer, with every dollar spent on the night going towards granting wishes for families in need of some joy. Gray Media Services is very happy to paint the town red for such a worthwhile cause and is looking forward to enjoying a night of live entertainment, which will include a special performance by Australia’s Got Talent finalist Jal Joshua.

CRVA National Conference – Sofitel Hotel, Brisbane - March 3, 2010 – 2.15pm

Gray Media Services is honored to be chosen alongside some of Australia’s most prominent business minds to speak at CRVA’s annual national conference, running from March 2nd to March 4th. This year’s event will focus on promoting the benefits of the media, marketing and public relations industry. Director of Gray Media Services Yasmine Gray hopes to enforce to businesses the importance of using public relations and the advantages it can provide for organisations when she speaks on March 3rd. The conference will bring together leading caravanning and holiday park bodies from all over Australia and is an excellent opportunity for Gray Media Services to meet and mingle with key members of both CRVA and other key organisations.
